Our warranty is in place to ensure we can make things right for our patients by addressing any treatment issues that result from our work.  At Ethos Family Dental we offer a 5 year guarantee for fillings, and crown and bridgework, provided that the following conditions are met:

1. The patient has fully paid for the treatment and does not owe the practice any money for the treatment received.

2. The restorations have not been damaged as a result of an accident, trauma or excessive grinding.

3. The patient has followed all post treatment maintenance recommendations made by our dentists.

4. If needed, the patient has followed up with preventive care, such as wearing night guards or other prescribed devices for grinding/clenching.

5. The patient has maintained the recommended hygiene appointment.

6. The patient has avoided using their teeth for unintended purposes, such as opening packages, opening bottle caps or chewing hard items (like ice or fingernails).

Some treatments may have a guarantee of less than 5 years, such as Dental Implants, Implant Crowns, Root Canal Therapy, and other treatment. In this case you will be informed by your Dentist either verbally or in writing, or both.

Cosmetic Treatment Coverage

While functional restorative work is covered under warranty, cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening and veneers may have different terms. Speak with our team for specific details regarding warranty options on cosmetic procedures​

 

Warranty Coverage

Example of Warranty Coverage: If a treatment complication occurs and can be corrected, such as replacing a filling, there will be no extra charge.

However, if a more extensive treatment becomes necessary, like needing a root canal instead of a filling, the cost of the original filling will be applied toward the root canal treatment and the patient will pay the remaining difference.
